Commerce Awards Workforce Recovery Grants to Businesses to Rehire Workers

Funding will Support 10 Additional Montana Businesses in Rehiring 53 Employees

The Montana Department of Commerce announced Tuesday that another 10 Montana businesses have been awarded Workforce Recovery grants to rehire workers laid off due to the impacts of COVID-19. The businesses will share a total of $310,000 to support rehiring 53 employees.

The Montana Department of Commerce announced Wednesday that 20 Montana businesses have been awarded Workforce Recovery grants to rehire employees laid off due to the economic impacts of the COVID-19 pandemic. The businesses will share $895,000 to support rehiring 152 full-time employees.

Workforce Recovery Grants Available for Montana Businesses Ready to Rehire

Eleven small Montana businesses have been awarded Workforce Recovery grants to bring employees back to work who were laid off due to impacts of the pandemic. The Montana Department of Commerce announced Thursday the businesses will share $195,000 to support the rehiring of 31 full-time employees.

Business Stabilization, Adaptation programs award $200 million in small business grants

Nearly 13,000 small Montana businesses in every corner of the state have now received support through Governor Steve Bullock’s Business Stabilization and Business Adaptation grant programs, he announced Thursday. These two targeted relief programs are among more than 30 that were created in response to the pandemic.
