Montana SBDC Network Welcomes New Kalispell Regional Director

Friday, September 9, 2016/Categories: Market MT, Small Business Development Center Network

HELENA – Stephanie Juneau has joined the Montana Small Business Development Center (SBDC) Network as Kalispell Regional Director. The Kalispell Regional SBDC, based out of Flathead Valley Community College (FVCC), serves Lincoln, Flathead and Lake counties.

Drawing on her breadth of knowledge in banking, finance, operations and accounting, Juneau seeks to educate, inspire and transform her clients’ needs into solutions.

"This is the perfect time to start and expand a business in northwest Montana,” said Juneau. “I’m proud to be one of the many resources available to business owners in this region.”

In Juneau’s 20-year commercial banking career, she developed expertise in financial analysis, loan structuring, credit underwriting and risk mitigation. She has been a business consultant for a broad range of companies in various stages of their business lifecycles, with experience in industries such as general contracting, professional services, technology, alternative energy, biomedical, manufacturing and import/export. Her expertise is assisting clients from concept through expansion and, at times, financial turnaround. Most recently, Juneau was the Chief Financial Officer of a startup manufacturing company in California. Prior to launching and leading that company, Juneau was Senior Vice President and Relationship Manager for several community and commercial banks in southern California.

Juneau replaces previous Kalispell Regional Director John Balsam, who passed away earlier this year. Juneau knows she will have big shoes to fill, as John's spirit lives on in his clients' endeavors and the businesses that have been opened thanks to his assistance.

FVCC is one of 10 SBDC Service Centers in the SBDC Network, a program nationally accredited through America's SBDC. For more information, visit: sbdc.mt.gov.
